Clovis Awah Che

I am Clovis Awah Che, a Cameroonian permanent resident who has lived in South Korea for 10 years. I came to Korea in 2016 as a Korean Government Scholarship recipient and earned a Doctor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Pukyong National University in 2020, completing my PhD in two and a half years.

My career has progressed from industrial R&D to multidisciplinary academic research. As Lead Researcher at Hypersolution Co., Ltd., I worked on subcritical reactor design and modelling, pharmaceutical extraction, waste conversion, material characterization, and plastic-waste pyrolysis for steam-cracking applications. I later joined Ghent University Global Campus as a Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on circular economy, waste valorization, kinetic modelling, life-cycle assessment, techno-economic analysis, catalysis, and sustainable energy systems.
